Day 5- Mermaid

A dying seawitch sinks to the bottom of a coral reef, but finds her body slowly fusing with the sponges. It seemed that by some sort of magic, she became reanimated. Though most of her has withered away, she is teeming with new life as the reef merged with her. The bustling new ecosystem she hosts provides her with life energy. She’s much too heavy to swim back up where she used to live, and to many she comes off as scary, but despite her appearance, she is nothing but motherly and wise.

This was so much cooler in my head but now it just hurts. Here u go, zombie reef mermaid witch
